The Association of Fine Artists of Vojvodina was founded in 1946 and is one of the oldest fine art associations. Since 1958, the association has functioned as a subsidiary of the Association of Fine Artists of Serbia, and in 1977 it continues to function again as a separate association. In 1985, the Association grew into the Union of Associations of Fine Artists of Vojvodina (SULUV).

The Gallery of the Association on Mihajla Pupina Boulevard began its work in 1969. In its continuous work from the beginning to the present day, through a large number of realizations, it has presented significant events (exhibitions of members, guest exhibitions, promotions, lectures, etc.).
